Pricing Questions

Is the Starter plan really free forever?

Yes. The Starter plan is permanently free for up to 5 active employees. There's no time limit, no "free trial" that converts, and no credit card required to start. We believe every small team deserves decent HR tooling.
How does billing work for a growing team?

You're billed for the number of active employees at the end of each billing period. If you add 3 employees mid-month, you'll be charged a prorated amount for those employees for the days remaining in the current billing period, then the full amount from the next billing cycle.
Can I mix plans across departments?

Currently MakeSpire uses a single plan per account applied to all employees. This keeps billing simple and ensures consistent tooling across teams. If you need monitoring for only certain departments, monitoring can be enabled per-employee within the Professional plan.
What payment methods do you accept?

Credit and debit cards (Visa, Mastercard, Amex). Bank transfer (SEPA/wire) is available for annual plans over $500/year. Contact us to set up bank transfer billing.
What if I need a custom plan for a large team?
